So I was eating at a vegetarian restaurant and found out that there’s an annual veggie pride parade in NYC. I can understand why we have gay pride parades, but what the heck is a veggie pride parade?? I think it’s one thing if you have a parade showing your pride for vegetables, but it’s another thing if you’re holding a parade encouraging vegetables and DISCOURAGING meat. That’s like saying imagine the gay pride parade emphasizing everyone not to be straight, and that’s not right. Show your pride, but don’t hate! But nonetheless, I am a hugeee veggie eater. I can go a day, two days, or even a week with my meat, but I cannot go a day without my greens!
